You could almost hear the cheers when Jack Coleman became the first Heroes co-star to jump back on the Heroes bandwagon. We first saw him in the series in 2006, and starting Sept. 24 on NBC on Heroes Reborn, we’ll thankfully see Jack again as Noah Bennet, aka HRG, resplendent in those unmistakable horn-rimmed glasses.
Get back up to speed here with the official trailer and a terrific character gallery that will bring you up close with your soon-to-be favorite characters on the show played by Jack and Zachary Levi, Robbie Kay, Kiki Sukezane, Henry Zebrowski, Rya Kihlstedt, Ryan Guzman, Gatlin Green, Judith Shekoni and Danika Yarosh.
For those of us wondering what happened to other characters from the original science fiction drama series, we’ll be enlightened as things move along during the Heroes reboot. The new show restarts five years after Heroes left off.
We got to know Jack Coleman well when he played Steven Carrington on Dynasty in the 1980s. He’s done theater and has written screenplays, and has made guest appearances on a long list of other TV shows, including The Office, The Vampire Diaries, Criminal Minds, CSI, and Scandal among many others. He’s a wonderfully versatile actor, whose college alma mater happens to be Duke University—go Blue Devils!
Although his character doesn’t personally have superpowers, he sure seems to have the knack to keep those who do have them in line, those incredulous Evos. At 57, Coleman looks super-healthy and in great shape, and he shares his secret with us here.
As for the new season, get ready to hold on to your hat and much more. Everyone needs a hero.
