It’s hard to believe that America’s Got Talent is headed into Season 11 on NBC. Has it been that long? Tune in Tuesday, May 31, at 8 p.m.
Mel B brings light and life to the show, with her boundless, positive energy—this will be her fourth season. This recording artist, actor and more, Mel B, who is the real Melanie Janine Brown, was, of course, a member of the awesome girl group, Spice Girls.
This season, the show’s creator and producer, Simon Cowell, takes the fourth seat at the judging table, the one just vacated by Howard Stern. We can expect Simon to pull no punches as one of reality TV’s most experienced judges. (I’ve missed him. Have you?)
It’s not the first time Mel B has been seated next to him—she did so in England for The X Factor. She and Simon join Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum to rate all kinds of incredible acts vying for $1 million and “can’t-buy-that-kind-of” exposure.
Maybe you saw Mel B’s second-place finish on Dancing with the Stars during Season 5. In addition to other guest appearances on TV, including co-hosting talk shows, she’s also done her share of theater. Mel B, 40, brings her inimitable style of pizzazz to America’s Got Talent.
I caught up with her recently and she dished on the new season, new judge—oh, and there’s a new location. AGT is headed back to Los Angeles as its home base. See more of why America loves Mel B here in this fun video!
